There’s golf nearby. Note that green fees can be negotiated for group rates and vary depending on season.
Lahinch is twenty minutes to the north. They are hosting the Walker Cup on September 5th and 6th of 2026, a match between the best amateur golfers from Great Britain and Ireland.
Trump Doonbeg is twelve minutes to the south and is truly a spectacular course. They will be hosting the Irish Open in September 2026.
Spanish Point is the local nine-hole course. Voted the best 9-hole course in Ireland in 2024, it’s only a five-minute drive from the house.

About an hour and twenty minutes to the east there is Adare Manor, which will be hosting the Ryder Cup in September 2027.
Ballybunion Golf Club is also about an hour and twenty minutes away. Note that there is a ferry to cross the Shannon; driving around to the nearest bridge will add an hour to the trip.
